A thorough health evaluation will be taken, and testing will be done to evaluate both the internal and external health of your eyes. This includes testing for glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, diabetes, hypertension and other eye diseases. How clearly your eyes see, the focusing ability, the eye teaming and the coordination skills will be evaluated at distance and near with particular regard to your specific visual demands.
Once the examination has been completed, our doctors will carefully explain the findings and discuss any recommendations for “preventive or remedial” care. Our goal is to find the “cause” of your visual discomfort or stress and alter its effects on your visual system. Our philosophy is to improve your vision as much as possible, rather than just “increase your prescription”.
